If your family accepts you for who you are you’re blessed. Therefore, what better gift than to go on the road with them to strengthen that love? Time passes, we grow older and life takes us places. Sometimes we have to move from the towns, countries, or even continents where our closest relatives are. Dreams and goals can take us to far lands. Consequently, we grow distant from our relatives and brothers. Probably in most cases, the every-day contact becomes texts or casual FaceTime.
I’ve been on the road for five years, and this year was the first time I traveled with my mom and brother abroad. We went to Costa Rica, and it was truly the first time I had a conversation with my younger brother and realized he was already a man.
Reconnect with your family
Traveling with your family is an opportunity to rediscover each other and create new memories with the people that, no matter what, will always be there. Nothing like family. Like my mom tells me, “With me there’s no divorce.” Traveling with our families brings a whole new set of challenges and logistics. Let this post and the accompanying notes guide you into planning the perfect get away with the ones you love.
